Multipurpose Building
students do activities at this place, such as seminars, meetings, and music shows or theater. This building consists of two floors. The main auditorium, sites for conducting activities, staff union, and secretariat of Students Activities Unit (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) reside on the first floor. In contrast, the second floor has a library center, computer laboratory, and secretariat of Students Activities Unit for temporary. For the next planning, the administration of the Students Activities Unit will move to Student Activities Center building (Pusat Pusat Kegiatan Mahasiswa) which joins with MPM and BEM (Students Executive Board)
The library center has functioned as the primary source of information and document for all PNJ students. It resides beside the D3 Study Program of Heavy Equipment. The library center provides services for borrowing various kinds of literature in Bahasa Indonesia or English, beginning from the magazine, scientific journal, and sciences book published in domestic or foreign, including students' final assignment report. In particular, the student's final assignment report is provided exclusively, located in the corner of the room. Students can not check out the final assignment report. The rule is taken into action to avoid unwanted things. Besides the library center, there is a department library in every single department. These libraries are focusing on the book collections which relate to the study program itself.
Jakarta State Polytechnic has an internet network connected with some access points for the wireless internet can be accessed by the academic community (Wireless Hotspot).
PNJ also has a campus mosque to facilitate Muslim activities in a campus environment. This mosque has two floors used to separate Ikhwan (male Moslem) and Akhwat (female Moslem). Darul 'Ilmi is also the center of Muslim activities. The activities are mentoring, practices, the commemoration of Islamic Days, Tarbiyatul Islam, regular ta’lim, zakat, infaq, and sadaqah. Masjid Darul ‘Ilmi conducts shalatul jum’at (Friday sermon) regularly.
Students cooperation Amanah and Ilmiah (KOPMA ADIL) the students manage, serve various kinds of business fields involving photocopy, telecommunication stalls, computer rent, and tools and students accessories provision. Besides, the students who work in the cooperative shelter under the Unit of Students Activities. KOPMA ADIL also frequently conducts seminar events, bazaar, and various kinds of training events.
PNJ has four main canteens which spread in different locations. They are in Technic Department canteen, Commerce Administration canteen, Electrical Department canteen, and New Canteen. All of these canteens provide various kinds of food and beverage by student price. Special for Technic Department canteen completed with the weekly musical event. It equips a small stage for an art show conducted by Art and Creativity Students Association (UKM PANKREAS).
The small pavilion constructed is only one banking facility provided in PNJ. However, this machine can be used for tuition fee payment through ATM auto-debit by utilizing Students ID multifunction card (ATM card + Students ID card).

The polytechnic bus is public transportation for supporting the fluency of student's vehicles. It picks up the students from/and to campus. Bus walks most of the track in the University of Indonesia surrounding areas and all of PNJ. Polytechnic Bus consists of 4 units. The first three units are the buses that used to walk around the campus. Each unit has the same route, and the last bus is used to visitation in various places for academic purposes.

The sports facilities at PNJ consist of a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, and a large grass field. Students generally use them for playing soccer. Sports coaching also becomes a concern for PNJ students besides the academic field. Students are free to carry out independent activities to exercise according to their respective hobbies and interests. In addition, there are sport activity units that aim to increase potential and talent and find eminent students that can be relied upon to participate in championships, both in higher education at the regional, national level and in the general classification. The entire PNJ academic community, including lecturers and employees, can use all of these facilities.
PNJ now has a new cliff board, besides the old one, which is no longer in use. The two cliff boards have different shapes and are commonly used to support – Student Association of Environmental and Adventure Activity – ASTADECA. With a strategic location, this new cliff board is very representative for rock climbing fans and members of the Student Association of Environmental and Adventure Activity at PNJ.

Pusgiwa Building, currently under construction, is planned to be used as the center of student activities. Inside Pusgiwa Building, several offices, such as the MPM secretariat, BEM (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa-Students Executive Board) secretariat, and UKM (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa-Students Activity Unit) secretariats, as well as a large hall where various activities exist. All student activities originally carried out in the Multipurpose Building (GSG) will be moved to this Pusgiwa building.
