INCREASE IN INDUSTRIAL PARTNERS, DELIVER TO REACH 'TOP LEADER' AWARDS

Judged to be capable of making changes, the PNJ Director was awarded the "Top 50 Leader Award." One of the reasons is the significant increase in the number of IDUKA partners.
In accordance with the mandate of Law no. 12/2012 concerning Higher Education, the vision and mission of the Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ) is aimed at bringing its graduates ready to enter the world of work in the era of globalization. Therefore, in order to increase global competitiveness, each study program is required to have cooperation with universities abroad in implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education. No less important is the development of links and matches with industry, through the application of an industrial based curriculum (Dual System / Teaching Industry).
This is the basis for Dr. sc. H. Zainal Nur Arifin, Dipl.Ing., HTL. M.T., as the Director of the Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ) increases cooperation with industry, as the key to the success of Polytechnic or Vocational education is the practice that becomes the basis of student competence. In this way, integration and relevance will be created with IDUKA partners (Industry, Business and Work), which produce quality human resources to increase economic growth and the welfare of the Indonesian people.
It turned out that this also led to him winning the “Top 50 Leader Award 2020” which was appreciated by the Indonesia Achievement Center in collaboration with Tre Uno Event Management for his ability to make significant changes and be in line with the acceleration of Indonesia's economic progress.
On Wednesday (16/11) night, among the rows of recipients of the achievement, the Director of PNJ for the 2020-2024 period gave a speech. "I would like to express my gratitude for this award to all the academics of the Jakarta State Polytechnic who have struggled together to achieve the PNJ condition as it is now, even though our reputation is still not optimal."
We have made many changes to accelerate and achieve PNJ's vision, continued Zainal again, including increasing industrial cooperation with the Industry-based Vocational Education System model. We all aim to build "The New PNJ" in the future, through the application of a new mind set, new culture set and new system set in the performance of all PNJ residents. Hopefully tonight's award will be an encouragement for our further efforts.
The highest appreciation in the "Top Leading Polytechnic In Education Quality Excellent Of The Year" category, presumably can serve as a commitment to create better work and achievements for society and regeneration as role models. In the end, this achievement can help the government to support the success of national development, face challenges and inspire the spirit of revival. Hopefully. (azf)
